1 1/2 lb (680 g) thinly sliced ribeye; 1/2 Asian pear, grated; 1/4 cup (60 ml) soy sauce; 2 tbsp brown sugar; 1 tbsp honey; 1 tbsp sesame oil; 4 garlic cloves; 1 tsp grated ginger; 1/2 yellow onion; 3 scallions; 1 tbsp sesame seeds; 1 tbsp neutral oil
1. Mix pear, soy sauce, sugar, honey, sesame oil, garlic, and ginger. 2. Add beef, onion, and scallions. 3. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes. 4. Heat a skillet over high heat. 5. Add a little neutral oil. 6. Cook beef in batches for 2 to 3 minutes in a single layer. 7. Turn and cook for another 1 to 2 minutes. 8. Transfer to a plate and repeat. 9. Sprinkle with sesame seeds and serve with rice.
